Wow would not recognize any new.toc files or changes to already loaded ones, so any new addons were not recognized and addons with new files or changed file/folder structure would break if you updated and then reloaded. In the blizzard desktop application, click options and select show in explorer (windows®) or reveal in finder (mac®).
